Why there are two marketplace links

VS Code and Cursor use different extension distribution paths, so the site now points to both explicitly.

VS Code installs

  • Use the Visual Studio Marketplace listing when your team works in Microsoft Visual Studio Code.
  • This is the official deployed marketplace path published by eprojac.
  • Choose this option when you want the standard Microsoft marketplace flow.

Cursor installs

  • Use the Open VSX listing when your team works in Cursor.
  • This is the official deployed Cursor-compatible path published by eprojac.
  • Choose this option when you want the Open VSX install flow instead of the Microsoft marketplace.

What to do after installation

Once the correct extension is installed, the rest of the flow stays the same.
  • Install the Jira App from Atlassian Marketplace if your workspace has not been connected yet.
  • Install the correct editor extension for VS Code or Cursor from the cards above.
  • Open a Jira issue and use the task-launch action to open the issue in your editor with task context attached.
  • Read the documentation page if you want the full Jira-to-IDE rollout flow before enabling the workflow for the team.

Need the Jira side first?

Install the Jira App from Atlassian Marketplace, then return here to choose the right editor listing. For the full rollout flow, read the documentation.
